To build off of this, I'm 39, and when i was growing up, i can remember 2 maybe 3 people that were taking meds of some sort for ADD/ADHD. It seems like every other kid these days is taking something. I've got a nephew that is 13 or 14, and he has been taking something for several years now. He also has several kids in his class that are taking something as well according to there parents that are in my age group.Rice wrote:There's a pretty solid correlation in the increase in suicide and the increase of being diagnosed with a learning disability. The truth is we take kids and feed them speed and keep them flooded with dopamine then they grow up and stop taking it and there is such a chemical imbalance it leads to major depression. But that would hurt phrama profits so that will never be called out.
Did the same amount of kids take medication back in the 80's and 90's, and no one just talked about it; or are a lot more people taking stuff now days?
My son only be 3 this year, so i haven't "been there, done that" yet, but i hope/pray that he never needs anything medication, and if he does, it will only be after exhausting all other types of help.
