I can honestly say that if my son were to commit a crime like either of the two described and was killed in the act of running away, my number one feeling would be towards his poor decision and questioning my own parenting. Number two would be regret towards the person who pulled the trigger.

Think about it, at what point did these people decide to be the victim of a crime? They had seconds to make a quick decision as the result of the perp's premeditated decision to commit a crime.
Unfortunately society has really changed in it's mindset that everyone is a victim. Very few want to take responsibility for their actions. That includes their kids also.

If I was on the jury I wouldn't convict him! Of those charges! While I don't agree with his actions shooting at the car leaving, the property owner probably thought they were armed and would return fire from the car!

This is why you guys need to always go to Jury Duty if you are selected. If everyone like us doesn't go and tries to get out of it, who is left? I don't want those type people deciding my fate. I was the foreman on Grand Jury not too long ago, and if I were one of the defendants, I would have been glad to have me on the jury, cause there are some idiots in this world.

He will probably get in trouble, but should have shot all three of them!

You will see a press release soon I think. I am not going to comment because I was involved in that case.

My source has advised that the guy pled guilty to manslaughter. Hasn't been sentenced yet.

That DNF "hunting accident" doesn't pass the smell test to me. If guilty for the reason people are suspecting, I hope the sentence him with the death penalty.

It was a plea before trial was set to start. That's all I'm gonna say. It's a lose-lose situation for all family members.
