I looked at several thousand ducks today in flooded cut soybean fields and moist soil fields. Gadwall and greenwings mostly, with a few pintails and shovelers mixed in.

With the forcast of warm temps, whats the prediction on seed germinating with the pumps turned on? I'm speaking of grasses (millets)?
Seems the birds that visit our holes don't care for seed germinating on the stalk. Hesitating to turn on a well and having a years work ruined.
