I dont know what that means but lets go ahead and make this permanent, you know so we can discus it, cause we dont know who you are red....

I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I was a GW and wrote a ticket for birds not being tagged. What is the point other than giving a GW power to write a ticket at will. The law is written so loosely that just about any hunter can be ticketed on any given day. IMHO the law should have been put to rest with the market hunting days. Same with possession limits...

Market hunting isn't dead or a thing of the past. Just because you don't openly see birds being sold doesn't mean it's not happening. To inform you, there is an enormous market out there which revolves solely around wildlife....just an example, Are you aware that a common box turtle will bring $10 on the Asian market or that there is a multi million dollar industry over seas with our fisheries (illegally). I'm just trying to let you know that the wildlife we take for granted is being sold and it brings a pretty price.

I'm not going to argue what happened on an open forum but the Lacey Act gives you " Redman 41" an avenue to enforce laws of other countries That law leaves so much for interpretation it's not funny
BTW I still have pics of all. "UC's" I could post o. Internet

Feel free to post any pics, no issue with me, I wear a uniform everyday now. Laws are written to cover a wide area because each circumstance is different. Not argument wanted or implied but the discussion started over tagging. Tagging is a simple way to protect our resources and it's used by all 50 states (Federal and State laws). Granted some State and Federal laws need some revision, I feel tagging is a way to manage our resources.

End 'O Thread. Never take a random guy you arent real good friends with hunting. He's either a UCGW or will be in your spot the next time with friends. And doubly true if he hails from Alabama
