And my post was not luck.. If you Ole MIss fans didn't have your heads stuck so far up each others asses you would see the writing on the wall

Question is can Ole Miss find a way to buy/wiggle their way out of this problem...

So the investigation started prior to August 2012, for those keeping score at home. The NCAA has conducted an investigation into Ole Miss' athletic department that has dragged on for more than three years now.
Because I'm tired of painting, is that based on the accusations being minor (who knows what they are anyway) or based on the NCAA's toothlessness?mshunter77 wrote:Not much will come of this for the football
I think the NCAA knows Ole Miss is dirty, but they could not prove it. I think that is why the NCAA released this information on the eve of the biggest recruiting weekend of the year...they figure they cannot directly get them, so they are trying an indirect way of getting them. Just this man's theory.mshunter77 wrote:Both. They may have to vacate some wins if the rumors of academic fraud are true other than that they may lose a little recruiting time and a couple of scholarships. In the end after three years they could not dig up too much dirt so no major penalties. People have gotten so good at hiding it(not just ole miss but everyone) that it is hard for the NCAA to prove anything. Unless someone involved gets mad and turns over hard evidence I don't think we will see any program take any major hits any time soon.

Don't know if it is true or not but supposedly Ole Miss got the notice two weeks ago. NCAA did not release the story. Pay Forde was the one to break it. But two weeks ago there was people saying ole miss had already received the notification and they even said the exact numbers of allegations so I tend to think it is true.Deltamud77 wrote:I think the NCAA knows Ole Miss is dirty, but they could not prove it.
