Prolly because its the first side by side thats remotely attractive from Honda. Glad they have stepped up their game.

I don't know about that. I enjoyed my 700 and would still have it if the cab was large enough for me(I'm 6'5"). My dad has a Big Red that is 4 or 5 years old and has never failed in any way(farm machine used daily). I can see where they wouldn't be as attractive to the mud racers, but it's all relative.

Define weak. How fast it gets off the line? Top speed? torque?

Look before you get your panties in a wad im a Honda guy, but at the same time im not biased towards honda when it comes to the facts. The fact is they a extremely under powered compared to the competition. You dont have low range and its only producing 36hp. If your happy with what you have thats awesome and im glad for you, but im happy that honda has finally brought a powerful side by side to the table.

......and I'm right there with you. Just didn't think it was total crap. If the 700 was good the 1000 has to be better. I have my big boy panties on. No worries :D

I have not had a lick of trouble from my 700, and have gone anywhere anyone with the "competition" has gone. I prefer the Pioneer to my old Ranger, because the Pioneer will actually crank when its cold and hold a low idle. The lack of power steering in the Honda and the epic high roll bar height if you want to get it in the garage is a PITA, though. I will still probably upgrade to the bigger bike, because more is always......more! :D
