^^^^^What he said. I got mine from there during their Father's Day sale last year. They always have discounts around Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Father's Day, etc. Usually around 15% discount when they have them.turkeyman wrote:Tractor supply co has the best prices on safes. When any brand says 24, 50 or 64 guns, they are talking little unscoped 22s or something, not scoped rifles and ARs. They eat up space quick. You will be surprised what else you find that needs to go in the safe once you have one.
I picked up a Fatboy from Discount Gun Safe in Pearl and couldn't be happier. Talk to the them about where you want to put that safe. They know how much clearance they need for the safe and dolly to navigate in your house. Just because you think it will fit down the hall and make the turn into your bedroom doesn't mean it actually....and momma keeps threatening to call them back out to move it from the dining room to the garage....
They usually have an extravaganza sale and a sale on previous model years.
It's funny you mentioned garage. Mine has been in the garage the whole time I have owned it. Fist house there was a cubby hole that it just fit in so we put it there. The house we live in now there is a smaller side garage and it lives in there.

Re: Gun Safe
Get a Liberty from Discount in Pearl. If you ever have an issue with it (which is possible with anything with a combination lock) then all you have to do is call and get them out to your place. Good luck getting somebody out to your house in a timely manner on Friday afternoon during hunting season when you are getting your guns out to head to the woods if you buy a safe from a big box store. I have Joe Thweat's (the owner) cell number in case something happens and I need help quick. My dad and I have 4 Liberty safes between us and couldn't be happier. He had an issue with a lock a few years ago and they came out and fixed it for free. Can't say enough good stuff about them.
P.S. GET AN ELECTRONIC LOCK!!! Nothing is as aggravating as trying to spin a dial with a bunch of little numbers after a few beers while trying to show a friend a new gun you just got. Well worth the extra $.

+1 on everything said here. Discount gun safe was great to deal with and I will go back to them one day in the next few years and buy a bigger one.Rowdy53103 wrote:As everyone else has said, go bigger than you think you will need. They are always located on the back wall of the extravaganza. Ask them about their scratch and dent sale or blemished models. pretty good discount for a paint chip or something minor.
Re: Gun Safe
Another thing that liberty safe dose that tractor supply don't is they have a lifetime replacement on their safes which is another thing to think about plus they are made in the USA.
