Jelly, you cant always choose your friends...

Hambone & country boy - yeah its fun to go hunt Rios after chasing these @%#$ MS Easterns. Like you said, it would take a whole season here to get that kind of footage.... if not 2 seasons. that's also why we use the strutting decoy out there. Makes for a quicker hunt and better footage.

It is a Canon Vixia HF G30. Its about the highest end consumer grade camera out there before you get to the $$$$ professional cameras. And still small enough to tote. I love it. I believe the only real difference between it and the much bigger cameras is the optical zoom.

We're you hunting an outfitter? Just coming back from OK myself and we had a hard time finding longbeards. Gangs of Jakes but two of us hunting 3 days only got one longbeard.

It was almost like they're done where we were. Tons of birds there but we didn't see longbeards or that many hens. We were in SW OK.

We were hunting private land but no outfitter in Major County.

No, but she was a turkey hunter and uses her mouth to call. She killed one a week or 2 before. We were impressed to day the least.
