Roses trout dock is where we went while in college 25 years ago.
I don't know if it's still in bidness or not.

Re: Arkansas trout resorts
Also, food for thought...the White and Norfork are rivers in which power is generated, meaning there are fluctuations that prevent wade fishing and those fluctuations are virtually unpredictable. I have driven all the way up there and not been able to fish for an entire weekend due to this issue.
The Spring River, due north of Batesville, Arkansas, does not fluctuate because they don't generate on it. The fishing can actually be much better than on either the White or Norfork as well. I have stayed at the Riverside Resort campground and cabins. Nice place - great fishing. My personal best rainbow came off of the Spring and I broke off a Brown that likely would have been my personal best there as well.

Ive never stayed here, but we used to camp across the river from it at a place that his since closed down and sold. Its right where the White and Norfork meet so you can fish both. Theres are 2 or 3 places in town that rents boats. The norfork has a lot of wade fishing places.

Hate to hear that, it was my favorite place to stay. Last time I was up there he was talking about selling out and retiring...he did have a much younger new wife. Guess the yang won that battle.
Where'd who go?
