The Antenna/boosters work unless you have ZERO service (they can't make service where there is none). I've run pig traps inside the levee where I was going in and out of "No Service" and 1 bar of service on my AT&T iPhone, hooked the antenna/booster up to the camera and it was enough to send the pictures and drop my trap gate.

I was under the impression that boosters had to be plugged in to an outlet. What type of booster is available that doesn't need 110V?
