Correct. You will still need a primitive license or sportsman to hunt the "primitive season" though.

My bad.
I'll use the correct font next time.

Ive been trying to tell them they are wrong but they wont listen to me... I need some proof to prove to them that they are wrong.
Sorry bud. Your friends are 100% correct. Spotlighting is going to be legal as well, but only during the early doe season.
Nah, I understood the sarcasm about the spotlight, but my question was regarding the highlighted posts above. You said his friends were correct, but I wanted to clarify. I just didn't realize your entire post was sarcasm.

Understood. Hence, I should have used the correct font. This is a prime of example of how befuddled things can get when users (me in this case) do not take the proper care in posting. Take 4dawgma for example.... if he said anything serious I don't think anybody would even realize it.
That being said, ever since they allowed scopes on muzzleloaders this whole thing has been a crock IMO. Good riddance to the 35 whelen 300 yd shot with a 14X zoom scope, primitive weapon kill.

If yall don't like the fact that you no longer have to use a "primitive weapon" anymore, you are still more than welcome to go load a paper patch bullet with some black powder and a flint striker and hunt away....just don't try to say i should have to do it as well. I been hunting with a primitive .270 for years and have had good luck.

I bought TC Encores for that very reason. I won't be getting rid of them. I love the .35 whelen round.......and then bought multiple barrels for my two young boys to use them too.
