polaris ranger not starting all the time

Parking brake may be partially engaged....some models will not crank, if parking brake is even partially engaged.

have you ever had to start anything at solenoid? ...tractor, car, whatever, by taking 2 screw drivers and placing one on each terminal at the solenoid and then touching the metal shafts of them together? if so, check the solenoid this way. if it starts right up (make sure it is in neutral...and wheels scotched and tied off to a tree and brake applied, for the internet lawyers) then you know you have a bad solenoid. it should be in or near the battery box.

if you have not ever done it and are have troubling thoughts at the thought of doing it, see if a buddy can do it for you.

These guys are Ranger experts and chances are, there have been similar problems.

I had very similar Polaris problems. Finally solved them with a new Honda. No mas.
