Absolutely - awesome sight......I'll never forget moments like that.

I'm going to HAVE to get a good Digital 'still' camera that I can take multiple shots in rapid succession.......and several memory cards.

'Wish I'd had one for the honker rise.........

I shot that with the video camera on 'still'.......wish I had been able to get some video and rapid-fire 'stills' of that, too. 'Could go back and check legs

Randy I can't tell you how cool that is... Obviously the trip, the hunt, the video, the wife... But for you to take the time to youtube it, and make a post with links and directions for all of us, not to brag or sell anything, but to share, well if I didn't already think you where one of the coolest nicest people on the planet... BTW, sent you a text a min ago, before I saw this. Thanks man. travis

Thanks, Travis.

BTW - I replied to your text while clearing-out some hiding spots for the boat in some remote areas we hunt (in the rain  ) - but they didn't go through until I re-sent them when I got back to the landing. Sorry for the delay. Phone was so screwed-up I couldn't even get ahold of Anne to tell her I'd gotten back to the landing and was OK. :x

Always good to hear from you.

Randy, those videos are just incredible. That last one especially. When you play witness to such a spectacle like that, it almost makes you question whether man is worthy to see it. Marty Stouffer has nothing on you!
Never assume.

Thanks, Gary

You're too kind, though........Stouffer is in a league way above everybody else.

Sights like those are the reason we go to Canada - you just never know what you're going to see.......and it always blows your mind.

Randy. Awesome! Seems they get better and better. Can't wait to see it on the big screen.

I was going to make a pole-cat reference/joke, but decided it may not be funny yet.

It's alright - we ran lots of water marks today after a Dawn, baking soda, and Peroxide bath.

'Skunk mop' is actually in the house tonight. Just can't stand it without her. After all - she IS part of the team.

Great stuff, your early duck report comes at just the right time to drive me nutty, ready to go.

I need to ask some teenage computer geek to set that last video as a looping screensaver on my 'puter.

Dry field hunting with their feet down, if I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. BIG FUN!!!

What are those long necked black, white and grey ducks? I'm afraid to start hunting those as it appears to be very addictive.
Them ducks is wary. We now resume our regularly scheduled forum melee in progress.

We call them corn buzzards down here.

Up there, we call'em honkers....and they can be frustrating at times, but extremely addictive.

The game is: no pass shooting - work'em feet-down inside of 25yds.........(or closer)

Thanks for your interest and comments, Boog

always liked shooting honkers around these parts when there wasn't any ducks to shoot or not in season. but i tell ya, shooting those big suckers decoying and big group after big group. it's an amazing thing to witness. never thought i'd say i'm itching to do it again. you are most definitely right, it's addictive

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.
