I end up toting a bunch of crap to the woods turkey hunting now, but that chair will always be one of the things. I have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time if there is no action going on. I get uncomfortable, have to shift, make noise, etc. This chair makes that much easier.
I have the Ol' Tom strap vest. It caries all the junk I need with out the bulk of a full vest. And my favorite feature on it by far is the mag-attach seat. It's quick and easy to slap it up and go. Don't have to fool with snaps and buckles to get your seat up and out of the way.

sounds like he's got it made! using a chair ain't to conducive for where i hunt, but I can see how that sucker would come in handy, especially out west.

I'm thinking of going at it this year with my 6 pocket pants and button up shirt. Facemask and gloves in pockets and mouth call holder around neck. That's all I use 90% of the time anyway.......

Totally agree, that seat is the best feature by far. I guess I am just a minimalist when it comes to turkey hunting. I don't see how you guys chase turkey's carrying around a seat in addition to everything else required.
The last thing I want is to look like a dang chinese tourist coming through the turkey woods. But Hey, if it works for you more power to ya. Maybe I am missing out.

It's out of necessity for me really. Ask anyone who's turkey hunted with me, I'm ADD, RLS, and impatient with turkeys. Probably why I'm not a great turkey hunter. But I love it.
And I probably do look like a pack mule coming through the woods. But, if it comes to a run and gun situation, I'll dump the stuff and come back for it.

Josh I got to find one first......we will be out youth weekend as Boo has a soccer tournament in Birmingham....but if you find one you want Buck to shoot for ya in the afternoon during youth weekend just let me know. or hell any weekend for that matter. We had one bird on our place last year and he got him the second weekend, although it was a huge bird....it was a crappy year after that

Hey remember that time we killed 6 turkeys in two days? It would have been one day if you had been able to get your booty outta that chair and turn around to shoot! LOL. In all seriousness though, them chairs are a life saver out west!

My old mossy oak NWTF vest has finally bit the bullet, not to mention i'v had it since I was 14... I'm either about to get the Mossy Oak Elite or the Ol Tom strap vest. Can't decide.

I figured y'all were covered up at the camp. I might know where one lives at, but tell Jr it might come with some hard labor;)

Got the Tactical Tatr II from Cabelas for a vest. I use the turkey chair as well.

One thing I have found that is absolutely the best thing for me is a Hunt Comfort cushion. They are very pricey. However, they are made with the same materials that are used in cushions for people who are either paraplegic or quadriplegic. Wheelchair seats have to be made to be sat on for very long periods of time and have to allow for blood flow and not promote pressure sores. Trust me. Get one of these seats and you won't go to the deer stand, turkey woods, or duck blind without it. And no I don't own stock or have any connection with the company. I just love the seat. I've got 4 or 5 of them for the boat, deer camp, and even using at the kids ball games. I've even toted one in to the auditorium for school plays and stuff as sitting in the wooden chairs that are in most school auditoriums tear me up.

The forever comfy gel seat they sell on tv and some cheap camp or green material from Walmart
And the wife or someone who can sew and you can make the hunt buddy seat for about half or less what u buy it for and it will fit your whole butt on it

They are good vests for the 2 weeks that they last . I dont know anyone who has ever had one that lasted more than a season without tearing to pieces.
