I can't believe this thing would fly worth a chit. I get obsessive compulsive in tuning archery equipment down to calculating Front of Center. The aerodynamics of a big pistol bullet up front are all wrong unless the back end gets weighted down as well. I'd think the end being so lite would try to take over the front and the arrow would tumble. I know the video shows them using it but they have got to be doing something to the back end.

Wonder if this would be classified as a firearm and a person have to go through the form and FFL to get it.

All the force from the explosion will go into the arrow instead of the bullet. I'd like to see which penetrates more into a block of gellitine, a standard arrow and broadhead or this gizmo? As far as the concerns about people using them to "kill without a trace". That option is already available with modern archery equipment. I can't imagine anybody going through the trouble of killing someone with a bow, only to shatter the silence with a loud bang.

That's cool, but I can't see this being much more deadly than a good broadhead, unless you are shooting stuff in the head or in a heavy bone like the shoulder. Shooting a deer in the usual spot behind the shoulder would be just as deadly as with a good broadhead except there would be the sound of a gun shot.

On the dangerous side, I've seen arrows do some crazy ricochets when they glance off hard objects. Now instead of an arrow just flying off in a random direction, you have the possibility that you could be shooting a bullet in a completely random direction. Either way, I'm sure Obama will make it illegal pronto.
