Believe what you want. Those were just my observations. I was not accusing anyone of cheating or violations of NCAA rules. And to equate the two is less than credible.

I ain't the one crying over Jones' recruitment, one way or the other. I am more than satisfied with the job that Feeze is doing so far. While I hope Jones decides to change his mind and sign with the Rebels --- I think he would look good in red and blue as part of the landshark defense --- I don't think that will ultimately happen, and I am not expecting it to happen. In the end, IMO, he will most likely stick to his previous commitment to MSU.

Its just been a lot of fun observing the reactions of the paronoid, "black helicopter" MSU fans in response to his visits to Ole Miss (in violation of Mullen's usual rule about taking visits after his commitment, and in defiance of the strong local pressure being asserted on the kid and his family). Its my understanding that Jones will be back at UM again for part of this coming weekend. And while Momma is visiting the campus, and Chris is out partying and having fun Friday night with our players and other recruits, there will be thousands of MSU sheep sitting at home, obsessing and worrying about the possibilities of losing him to the evil TSUN, and calling into the "head to head" radio show with comments suggesting clinical depression, or typing self-serving drivel on GenesPage in response to the caca shoveled up by "Rosebowl" and "Gene Gene the dancing machine" (the famly consigliere) ---"All is well, all is well, all is well...." ---basically, the sequel to this past weekend.

So, if the Rebels get him, then great. If not, then its been fun. Its a win-win either way.

I'd like to know why anybody at Ole Miss that cares if they succeed (someone like a booster) would be unhappy with Freeze???...I mean considering the past 7-8 years of football, recruiting, etc...that sounds to me like a big ole stretch from somebody trying to make sense of the bullcaca claims they are spreading...just my take on it, doesn't make sense...now a booster paying recruits, sure it's possible...it happens in a lot of places; a lot of the times and sometimes is completely not related to the coaching staff, sometimes it is...however all the people that know and are telling all this juicy info to a manager at Academy in Gulfport, or an insurance agent in the Delta...they don't know caca they are just talking and you are just listening, believe that part for sure.
Did not say it is true or that I even beleive it. I am sure if State truly had some evidence Ole Miss would know and back off. I even said that I don't know how they would get such evidence, only way they could would be from the recruit and I doubt he would do that and jeprodize his status. I posted that stuff as a joke of all the rumors going around. Every program always seems to have an unhappy booster that is going to spill the beans. If they are unhappy with the coach it is probably because the coach did not baby them like they think they should be because they give money to the program. Also I do have cousins that played at Ole Miss and are boosters now. My job and where I live has nothing to do with who I know or what information I may get. I that is the case why would a computer guy living in Baton Rouge know more than me. Also I don't know any insurance agents in the Delta.

When Jones attended some combines and camps this summer, the gig was up. He jumped from a 2 star to 5 star almost overnight. Outside interest in him exploded. Despite MSU's wishes, it was inevitable that the young man would want to at least visit and check out other schools interested in him before making his ultimate decision. This natural process was delayed with Jones due to the referenced efforts by MSU to keep him under wraps. MSU has no one to blame but themselves. Jones may still indeed wind up at MSU. But his eyes are open to other schools now in this process. The kid is simply having fun. And his parents are now aware of what happened with their son's delayed recruiting.

If you have proof of cheating, call the NCAA or MSU's compliance office. Otherwise, keep this chicken caca off our board. It kills brain cells.

Seriously? With all the recruiting services, camps, high school coaches (Ole Miss fans) that play against him.......you really believe MSU alumni kept him hidden? Bwahhhhhhhhh. Nobody of his talent goes unnoticed unless you just don't have a clue what you are looking at or not pounding the pavement. Maybe a 1 star guy with size that develops after he gets on campus........but really? He was kept hidden?

Where were the Ole Miss coaches? Why werent they at the games watching him as a Soph and Jr? Do you really think the only way a kid gets looked at is if the High School coach calls up the Coach at Ole Miss and tells him to come look? Bwaaaaahhhhhhh!

With all the visibility these days, no high school football, baseball, or basketball player can stay hidden.......

really because he went from a no name 2 or 3 star depending on what service, the entire year, with very minimal offers... participated in one summer camp? and was unheard of until the allstar game where he dominated to a 5 star number 2 de in the country number 1 player in the state OVER NIGHT... u can't honestly say the kid wasn't somewhat sheltered/hidden until the last month or 2.. that's ubsurd.. he woulda had offers from EVERY school way before the last month....

Coming from someone who watched this kid play every Friday night this year.... he's over rated. Big time. The only advantage that coaches have with this kid is that he is raw talent and that the coaches at HHS really didn't know how to coach him. This is the same kid that jogs up and down the field on half the plays and acts hurt a lot either cause he's tired or whatever. Call it what you want but this is one rare recruit who is being judged by what he MIGHT could be, not what he has proven on the field during a High School Career.

As a State fan do I hope he goes to State? Yea i do, but thinking that this 18 yr old kid is going to make or break our recruiting class as its significance unfolds over the next 4 yrs is a waste of brain cells. And the same goes for Ole Miss. There are so many variables that lie ahead for all these kids that none of them are afforded the opportunity to get onto the field in their career be it they are a one star or five star. Any one of them could flunk out, get hurt, never qualify, get arrested, or just never develop. He's a Dontae waiting to happen. My bet on this kid is that everyone makes a big deal, and he gets the big head and never develops because he's actually got some real talent practicing against him on the other side of the ball. But we will see in 2-4 years cause he will probably redshirt where ever he's at. And if OM get Kemdicheee (or however you spell it) then his odds of hitting the field just got cut by half.

And just to clarify the Principal is an Auburn fan, just like his dad, the local Vet here. His kids put an AU flag in our preachers yard when he found out he was a State fan when he first moved here.

Seriously? State fans kept Jones sheltered? What about when Jones went to camp at Ole Miss a couple years ago, did the State fans make him register under a different name than Chris Jones? Maybe the reality is that your program has been so f'ed up the last few years that the plantation "missed" him. All I ever heard was how Nutt stopped recruiting.....and you create a BS story about Jones being sheltered by State people?
