I bought a 2009 duramax and had three small issues with it. All were covered under warranty but I still traded it on a f250 in October. The ford rides much better hopefully it will hold up. The fords diesels have been junk for almost 10 years this one seems to be holding up.

I wish you luck with the new Ford. I have two friends with 2011 models, both have had new motors installed already. Another friend has had no issues yet.

Love my Dodge 2500 Cummins.

I have a couple friends with the 2011's and they have had no problems. Hopefully your friends just had bad luck. Thanks for the info tho
