A lot of the negativity is envy, pure and simple. Dude made an honest mistake, get over it.

Greg has won numerous sanctioned duck calling contests and others as well, prob more than most on here combined.

I don't question whether or not he is a great guy. However, he has lied to sell duck calls for many years. He used to put ads in magzines that said 16 time world champ. You can only win 3 times then you are not allowed to compete any more. Just down right disrespectful to those that have accomplished that feat. I didn't see Hood's name on that list posted, not one time, let alone 16..........

I'm not a member of MENSA and I suspect those that are wouldnt appreciate me say that I was.

If you can't be honest, well I gotta question your integrity and intentions.

FYI, this bothers me as a family member of mine (Mike McLemore) was a 3 time "world champion" and "champion of champions." He earned that honor, Greg Hood did not!

Food for thought.....did the ad say 16 time World Champion duck caller or 16 time world champion caller? I used to staff for Greg and never remember once him claiming that.

There are other world calling contests besides duck and he makes various calls such as goose, predator, deer, turkey, elk to name a few......ever thought he has won some of those?

So redeyed......might want to do some fact checking before you publicly call someone a liar. He who throws mud always gets dirty hands........

I dont have a dog in this race but even if he is using the 16 time world champion caller at a duck event, wouldn't that be kind of like saying your a world champion duck caller??? Or is that an acceptable play on words??

I dont have a dog in the fight either, however, now we know what 'assume' means. Just as anybody is proud of their accomplishments, I know I would be.

I profit nothing from his company, but do count him as a great guy and friend.

Lets not forget about the Delta Wings Festival calling contest a few years ago when it was advertised and he was introduced as "3 time world duck calling champion, Mr. Greg Hood" Maybe it was a mistake, maybe not.......

This is used to be posted on his website
"A third-generation master call maker and champion caller, he holds 15 world sanctioned event titles and more state and regional titles than anyone. In fact, he is the only person to hold major titles in duck, goose, deer and turkey calling. The original Little Joel has won three world titles in only five years of production. The Nasty Boy has won over one hundred state and regional titles and the Sentinel has won over fifty."
Can someone with a bit more time let me know what 15 world sanctioned event titles he holds? I'd like to know.

If I am wrong, show me and I'll apologize!

It would only be spelled "bunt" if it was being used in dialect. The spelling "bundt" is from the German language and is trademarked as early as 1901 in the United states as a specific type of cake pan having a hole in the middle. There is no such thing as a "bunt" cake in official culinary language. The "d" is often assimilated into the "t" in common speech, but is factually incorrect as a spelling.

And, "son" is a term used as from a father to a male offspring, and my father has been deceased for some time now.

Yours in factuality (is that a word?),
