Gottfried, UAB, and Georgia all pulled their scholarship offers at the last minute. Can you tell me the last time Alabama pulled a scholarship offer in the last 20 years in football and basketball? The answer is none. Why now?
Since NCAA rules do not permit a coach to speak publicly about the recruitment of a player, CMG followed the rules and clearly sent a message to the SEC and NCAA. Kudos to him, UAB and UGA..
The only one talking was the HS coach Ford. That speaks volumes.
There are plenty of other inconsistencies with his story...but I think time will tell.

I am sure $tan$bury can straighten the whole thing out. Afterall, he is so highly regarded amongst his fellow SEC coaches (1 vote in the SEC coaches poll for coach of the year).
Good luck to Sharpe, but our class will be stellar either way.

Ask and you shall recieve. Lets' see, Bear was gone in 85 I believe. Let's simply take a look at one solid decade..the 90's <---also known as M$Us glory years (if there ever was such a thing)
In the 1990s, in spite of probation, Alabama:
- Went to eight bowls and won five
- Won two conference championships, that's 20% of the championships in a 12-team conference
- Won 91 games - Only Florida won more.
- Won one National Championship the same as Florida and Tennessee.
- Played in 5 SEC Championship games, second only to Florida, winning 2 of the five.
*Not to mention the 90's were considered a "down" year by Bama standards.

Won the SEC West in 2003 despite being on probation

Anyone with half a college football brain knows that dynastys are hard to build this day and age, but that has most to do with SCHOLARSHIP LIMITS.
I've never claimed that Alabama will return to complete dominance, but two things can be for sure:
We will always be on top of the record books and we will continue to get the best players regardless if others claim we "cheated"
Afterall, we are Alabama.

The obvious answer is ALOT. Both good things AND bad. i don't deny that.
Stansbury is the best recruiter in NCAA, but the worst dang coach! IMO He can't win the big games. He took us deep in the NCAA tourny once, but THAT'S IT!!! His number one play is when State goes on a 9or 10-0 run, he pulls 3-4 of the guys on the floor. 
WHY?????? In my book he just as big of a mooron as Sherill!!!
We have won a total of 8 games in three years. Talk about Alabama won't ever be the same, I know I am personnally scared for life from the past three years!
