Gas in the boat isnt the problem Lane, its getting to the water that cost!
That tournament sounds like it would be fun.
I think I would be safer in the yak than my boat offshore. It seems to draw a lot of enforcement attention.

They can tell your from MS that's all.

On the tournament, there is just something so appealing about being drug by a bull red.

I hear you Pops, there will be no hackey sack in my future.
I put my kids on my kayak this weekend, I could paddle around with my 7 yo and he could fish, then switch out with the 2.5 yo and catch her a fish, we all had a great time. I think I like it as much or probably more than fishing out of a boat. Its definatly more relaxing.
On another note, you can drink a few bears and dont have to worry about being close or over sombody elses arbitrary limit.
