Repealing it is not as difficult as you may think. Because this bill was passed using reconciliation, it can be repealed using reconciliation. Republicans already have a majority in the house and can pass the measure there. In the senate, they only need 51 votes to repeal it. That said, I doubt Harry Reid will allow it to actually reach the floor for a vote. If it does come up for a vote I think there may be a few democrats who would abandon their party and side with the republicans.
The surest way to make it happen is to take back the majority in the senate and have Romney defeat Obama.

Re: The Obama Tax
Well there's your exemption's from the mandate.....undocumented immigrants, prisoners, those making less than the poverty line - makes sense. I think I'm gonna go off the grid and come back as an "undocumented immigrant" - no taxes, free healthcare....hell, I don't blame these illegals anymore. What's the incentive for gaining citizenship the correct way? You jump through hoops for years to become a legal citizen, then your reward is paying for all the entitlement programs that all the people that came here illegally get to use. Makes no sense - talk about rewarding bad behavior. Son of a bi$ch! We have some damn corrupt morons in Washington.
Bill: PPACA, Reconciliation Act; Page: 2000-2003; 87-93
$65 Billion: Individual Mandate Excise Tax and Employer Mandate Tax (Both taxes take effect Jan. 2014):
Individual: Anyone not buying “qualifying” health insurance as defined by Obama-appointed HHS bureaucrats must pay an income surtax according to the higher of the following
Exemptions for religious objectors, undocumented immigrants, prisoners, those earning less than the poverty line, members of Indian tribes, and hardship cases (determined by HHS). Bill: PPACA; Page: 317-337
Employer: If an employer does not offer health coverage, and at least one employee qualifies for a health tax credit, the employer must pay an additional non-deductible tax of $2000 for all full-time employees. Applies to all employers with 50 or more employees. If any employee actually receives coverage through the exchange, the penalty on the employer for that employee rises to $3000. If the employer requires a waiting period to enroll in coverage of 30-60 days, there is a $400 tax per employee ($600 if the period is 60 days or longer). Bill: PPACA; Page: 345-346

I think I am going to join an Indian Tribe. My great grandmother on my mother's side was a full blooded Choctaw Indian. I am more Indian than that charletan female Senate candidate up nauth who Harvard described as their first female faculty member "of color". Ha. And as a fallback position, perhaps a religious conversion may be in order (I'm going Amish). I'm also liking the idea of going off the grid, and coming back as an "undocumented migrant" ---- just lose my social security card and all other forms of ID, and claim identity amnesia --- or move to the Cayman Islands for a summer of fun, renounce my US citizenship, and then return to the US. As such a migrant, I can avoid all types of government intrusion (income taxes, Medicare Tax, SS Tax, ObamaCare Tax, etc,) while still retaining my full civil rights and also qualifying for any government freebies.

Re: The Obama Tax
Based on the above, here are a few of my predictions of what will happen, if things do not change, begining in January, 2014.
A)The cost of health insurance is going to skyrocket. If you don't like the huge increase in 2014, just wait until we see how much it will be in 2016.
B) All business investment will grind to a complete and skreetching halt. Nobody will be lending money to businesses for capital improvements.
C) There will be no research and development for medical improvements - none.
D) There will be a huge spike in unemployment. And if you are lucky enough to still have a job, your takehome pay will be noticably less.
E) Those small business shops that your wife/girlfriend/mother/kids/you like will be boarded up. Unless, of course, they can provide a vital service and find customers willing to pay the greatly increased prices (See #D above)
F) There will be a dramatic rationing of health services.
G) Don't worry about the producers paying for the non-producers healthcare like we have now, because there won't be anywhere left for the non-producers to go for healthcare services.
H) Overall health of Americans will dramatically decrease. The life expectancy of people across all demographics will be lowered (I.E., we'll all die sooner) because the incentive for 'Wellness' procedures is eleminated.
As for me and my house, I'm getting my Baby, my Bible, my bullets, and my bourbon ready - in that order.
Nobody owes you anything.
