I sell Browning at our store, I have to say it has been flawless as far as guns that come back with problems. I promise you if one was problematic I would get texts and calls from customers. After three years of productions and talking with many I finally begged the owner of the store to stock the Maxus. I am thrilled with the results and so are my customers. The new Beretta has been a nightmare of problems, and I will no longer carry the gun until said "bugs " have been worked out. the Maxus comes in about $200 less than a SBE 2 , which I equate to a case of shells and it does not kick the fire out of you. Just my 2 cents, Nic

I personally don't buy a gun during its first couple years production. It usually takes a year or two to work the kinks out. I personally have a SX3 , and love it. I have shot a Maxxus and liked it. If Browning is the brand you are looking at I say Maxxus. I also think you should shoulder and shoot as many different guns as you can and then decide.

The only feedback I have received on the A5 is from browning regeional guys.... Of course its all great...they are salesman too...lol
Although the warranty they are giving with the gun is not something you see advertised that often.

Maxus... dang good guns... but heck, they are all good for the most part. Which ever feels and points better to you, you will shoot better... As for the A-5, yes I have shot the new ones at a Browning Demo shoot and I am NOT impressed at all... The gun had problems cycling certain types of shells... 2 3/4" mainly... Hope they get all the bugs worked out....
