I'm planted and sprayed with pre-emerge and there's no rain in the forecast, atleast in the next 7 days. How effective is pre-emerge (Prowl) if it is not activated with rainfall in the first 7-10 days?

I think the label says you lose like 50% if not incorporated within 7-10 days.

My sunflowers, the ones that survived the deer attack look pretty good. All heads are down and the drying has sarted. My grass control was less than steller but I plan on doing a roundup burn down over the top. Then I can select burn the field for a clean ground... that's my plan. I got a pile of baby turkeys in the field... chasing bugs.

Bout two weeks before Sept 1, I will do some select bush hogging.

Does this count as a dove field?

My little 12' long row I planted in the garden. Actually I made the furrow with the hoe and my grandfather put the seeds in, so maybe it was his thumb and not mine that kicked them off. Next year I plan to plant two full rows just to plant.

Boomless sprayer, I can spray 20' to each side. So I'll run over two rows spraying.. I usually bushog the rows I know down whil spraying.. .then select mow more as the season goes on.
