Re: new mississippi decoy
I love my DSdecoy..... I've had it set up numerous times with other decoys and they'll pass the others up like they ain't even there and go straight to mine..... I've got the upright hen..... Shes even acquired a nick name with the group I hunt with....

DSD does look good but a pain to tote around. The zink is collapsable and very realisitc. Best of both worldsGunslinger wrote:Except DSD...you can't buy a more realistic decoy than the Dave Smith.camlock wrote:Avian X by ZINK

Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

Yeah, I don't honestly think a turkey can see the difference between a DSD and a Zink they are both ridiculously realistic, and the Zink is cheaper (they are both high) and it's collapsible and you can pack it as easy (easier in some cases) as about any on the market.Jelly wrote:DSD does look good but a pain to tote around. Re: new mississippi decoy
On numerous hunts i've had birds peck or mount my DSD. Can't do that with a Zink. Last year for instance, myself and bullsprig were hunting a big ole swamp bird and called in 5 or 6 jakes first. 2 of the jakes mounted my DSD and went to freaking town on her. I'm talking full on XXX, gettin nasty, bow chika wow wow, humping. At one point we had one on top of the decoy and another "pleasuring" himself right in front of her. Its funny as all get out watching one try to balance on top while his nails scratch the ever living crap out of her back. I've also had hens come up to her and peck her eyes so bad they had to be re-painted.
Pretty awesome decoy but it can be a pain in the butt to tote around.
