bolte has got one nice place. I wish I had 20-30 thousand acres to myself. and yea, that land isn't going anywhere. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of will rives and his monsters in the coming years. good genetics, superior management, and unlimited resources. Congrats on another fine one.

Pretty sure he has over 30k acres. Why in the world would somebody want that much land?

Seriously....the one thing I want to buy one day is a bunch of land....and the more the better.

True. I saw the post above mine and searched Google for a minute because I thought he made a mistake with the 20-30k post. I guess I was just blown away that somebody could own that much land in Mississippi. I could see owning that out west but never believed somebody could piece that much together in Mississippi.

My dads boss has pieced together 3k but it took years and 50 ac. Here and 100 ac. There to make it happen. Also, I guess the why would anybody want that much land comment was more directed at the work involved to keep a place like that in working shape. We keep that 3k up between five of us and it is almost a full time job, and could be if you wanted it to be. Always something to do

If u own 30k acres of land , then u got the funds to hire someone, cause it would be full time

You are right about that.. When no one hunts 30K acres, you can grow some good ones.
