Anyone heard a new prediction for steele bayou? Last i heard was 93'.

That was before they ran the new model and figured out its going over the backwater levee. They will have to
open all gates to relieve the pressure before it overtops.

Which backwater levee? Where will the Yazoo overflow it's levee system? When it does i assume it will be the west levee.

Yes, basically the west levee of lower auxilliary channel. More than one low spot.

This is another of tom lee park on the river. The houses are on another levee that keeps the downtown area safe

The Corps is working on an inundation map so we can see exactly what will be flooded. Hopefully I will get a copy of that map tomorrow. This could flood up to elevation 109’. If you are located on property at or below 109’ you might get flooded.

I googled "elevation" and found a site that was a point and click kinda deal. Sout end of lake Washington to silver city to cruger. All about 109. I can't really say its accurate because isola measured 1200' at first !!

Google Earth also gives elevations. Not sure how accurate, but it's there nonetheless.
