Thank you for judging. I didn't get to run your test, maybe next time.

Re: Duck Southers at the Grand
Anybody video any of the grand. I'm curious as to whether or not Roux would have a prayer if we can ever find the time to run?
Congrats to all who qualified to run.
Thanks,
Frank

Thanks to everyone! Sorry no reply until now...
I finally decided to wake up
...
...reality still hasn't set in...all I can say is what an awesome experience and a roller coaster ride...watched some amazing animals go out in front and still can't believe we made it thru but gus was on his A game and I didn't pull enough of my usual "moves" to go out
...thanks Harwell for judging and for being you.. you represented and it was awesome!

Re: Duck Southers at the Grand
Frank, there was no official videographer filming the grand. Mark Atwater was there for still shots. Having seen Roux run the Bear Branch Invitational two years ago, there is no doubt in my mind that he can be a GRHRCH. Jump in and join the fun. It's quite an experience.
It was great seeing all of the Duck Southers. Just wish I would have had more time to visit. As I told a couple of you at the Purina site, I can't wait for next Spring when our roles will be reversed. Southern Flight puts on as good a "regular" hunt test as anyone and I'm sure you will do a great job at the 2011 Spring Grand. Get ready to work your a$$es off. We had 31 members who worked this Grand. 13 worked from Thursday-Wednesday. 3 more worked from Friday-Wednesday. The others worked when they could. When yall start preparing, don't hesitate to call if you have any questions. I will give one suggestion- I would send the chairman to the Fall Grand in Georgia to observe how they do it. You can't believe how much goes on "behind the scene." For the host club, the Grand actually starts on Wednesday. The judges and grand committee arrive and there is a dinner that night. Test setup begins Thursday and concludes Friday. It's quite an undertaking but there is no doubt in my mind that yall will do a great job.
Hope everyone had a good time. Congratulations to those that passed and for those that didn't, congratulations on competing. Georgia is just around the corner!!!!! See ya there.
