alec, have you seen the 3800 lumen in person? What equivalent is that in candle power?

Just got my light in. Cheap crap. I don't know who has been passing the koolaid around here but that light isn't any better than a handful of lightening bugs in a mason jar.

comparing lumens to CP is like comparing the ratio of stanley nickels to schrute bucks. They are two totally different things. I haven't seen the 3800 one in person, although im abuot to order three, but the 1000 lumen I have is VERY bright.

Damn sure aint got to look for coons eyes...they will show u his whole body..them ninjas was sho impressed with that light.....them 3800 should be badarse if the batteries dont cost a fortune

Got my headlight in yesterday. Not impressed at all, but I have spent $4 on worse things.

Ya'll must be ordering the ones off ebay that are stateside and ya get real quick...cause i tell ya the ones i got from china that took a mth to get here are as good as my surefire if not better...and burn hell of lot longer than that cr123 battery eating POS.....

I ordered some from CA and they were the same lights I got from china back when the thread just started.

This is no crap right Here:

I was given a Surefire Lumamax L6 on Wednesday. I took the head lamp out and compared it to the BIG surefire. It blew it away. The streamlight poly stinger I have comes no were close either.

Blackduck, you got the shaft. I have a streamlight, 2 surefires, 2 cabelas XPG xenon lights, and a couple of cyclops, and nothing touches them.
There will be a day....

Mine still ain't here but the USPS site updated the status to somewhere in New Hampshire so at least they're stateside...
