Get two weeks of vacation and I saved a few days for the draws I didn't get. Not sure what I'll do now....maybe do some internet scouting and drive north to bust some greenheads with my slingshot/trebuchet. I might even bring my Johnny Unitas book along for the ride.

I drive this about half the days of the month. The rest of the time I'm usually doing something to help out the old man on the farm or in the pasture. It leave a fair amount of time to hunt as well.Image

Civil Engineer for quasi state gov. during day- consultant at night and weekends, very flex work schedule during duck season (if they are flyin-I ain't workin) . Worked for years for NRCS in delta and always saved annual & comp time ,got very spoiled to having winters off. Very fortunate to get to chase them throughout the delta. :D

Sounds like Micah is the man I need to be talking to. Been trying to get on where he is for a while!!!!!!

Micah wrote:My employer makes solution product for wound irrigation, respiratory therapy, and injection. We are FDA regulated, and do entirely too much paperwork. I'm a manufacturing supervisor responsible for a three shift sterilization operation that runs 5-6 days per week. I'm here from 6:45am to 4:30pm most days and I'm on call the rest of the time.

I'm working on a three year exit strategy that will hopefully result in my acceptance to medical school. If I'm gonna work the hours, I might as well do something fulfilling. :D

Notice Micah said "Three Year Exit Strategy".....you don't want to get handcuffed into Baxter. He'll tell you that. I worked there for a few years and did the exit strategy myself.

Director of Surveillance for Resorts Casino Tunica, not supervised by my property General Manager, but held to a high degree of accountability when things go wrong in the casino. My direct superior is out of Atlantic City. During the hunting season I usually work in the office about 3-4 days a week from around 11:00am till about 16:00, I work out of the duck blind the rest. Manage a staff of about 15 and they generally do a real good job of securing the companies assets and making me look good. Rest of the year I work 60-70 hour weeks. Been doing it for 7 yrs now. Last three duck seasons I hunted between 55 and 60 days each season. I feel like I have been blessed.
