How much should that wage be? What’s the actual dollar amount for your argument?

Also, I think you’re now throwing a monkey wrench into the whole argument. So you’re saying that a morbidly obese person who does nothing to control their diabetes needs to be paid enough to cover their increased medical premium costs. Those premiums being higher due solely to their lifestyle choice?

I Currently pay $10 an hour for general labor when I need help. I’ve got a couple guys that are very reliable, do a good job, and I don’t have to babysit them, and they will show up when I call them.

I’ve seen enough guys who do nothing but drag ass, don’t want to be there, who are totally unmotivated, who have to be ridden hard to get them to do anything to know that when a good go-getter shows up he is indeed worth more money.

I personally think we have more than enough government intrusion into our lives that we don’t need them dictating how much every human being should be paid regardless of their self motivation or lifestyle.

If you force me to pay more, I’m just going to do more of the work myself to save that cost.

Unfortunately govt. intrusion and regulation is a necessity in humanity regardless of which system any given group is trying to operate with, including and especially capitalism. The reason for that is simple - greed - lots of it too.
When it has a moral and ethical impact on the country, it has to be throttled, and if you think greed doesn't need a throttle, this conversation is over.

Greed is human nature for sure. The people who do not posess greedy characteristics in life are truly the most wealthy individuals there are.

I cannot possibly Fathom a government system where by forcing businesses to pay more money will ultimately have an effect on the wealth distribution examples you previously referred to. The wealthiest individuals are always going to remain at the top. It occasionally shifts from individual to individual but that’s never going to change that very few wield all the power and control and money.

Every red blooded American should be sick to their stomach at the thought of how the Obama administration has Weaponized the FBI against the Trump administration. Every red blooded American ought to be mad as hell that the Hillary Clinton regime has a completely different set of laws she is allowed to operate under than does the average citizen.

Everything else including this recent discussion we are having is totally irrelevant until the high-level government recklessness gets reigned in and people actually get held to account for their crimes.

If nothing comes from this. If there are no high-level arrests, then I will have probably completely given up hope for the salvation of this country.

Not from where we are now it can't. What can do that is a president who will tax the living squat out of the ultra rich, up to 90%, as has been done before to right a screwed up economy. But before even Washington himself could dat that and it have a real positive impact, the wolves in DC would have to be taken care of. And as I suggested earlier, complete campaign reform that eliminates favoritism with dispensing govt. contracts.

Throughout all of history, when wealth consolidates as it has at this time in America, what comes next is never good for the country, the people, nor those who have acquired it. It's a process, if you don't regulate it, this will always happen, because that's what the process does. When inequality reaches this level, it becomes very dangerous. Same thing through all of history, regardless of system, same thing always happens.

And it's always the same source for the troubles, materialism and greed unchecked.
Henry Ford built and sold trucks to the Nazis that were then deployed to kill Americans and their allies. Never heard THAT in history class. Because that's the true measure of capitalism unchecked - it will kill your family and you will thank them for it.

I have heard a lot of people talking about Hillary the criminal, I personally can't stand the "BEARDED CLAM". But I have never seen any actual anything that she supposedly has done that is criminal and she was convicted of. I get it - she's a crook - so where is the loot, and where did she get it. I myself HATE dynastic politics, HATE them. And without them we wouldn't even be discussing this rag.

This place is dead as a doornail man, dead and gone. Those days and this technology are over with but it sure was fun while it lasted.

Using an unsecure server. Deleting thousands of emails which are in fact government records.

Is speculated that was deleted are details of her pay to play Government secrets for the highest bidder.

I guess you’ll just see what you want to see?

well is there real proof of this? Was using unsecure server illegal?
What did she pay to play?
if you want to hate the beotch them by all means show me some real proof that she deserves it, thats all.
I try not to hate anyone at all but it would be easy with that "BEARDED CLAM", if there were some real facts involved in all the sheot slinging about her. I just aint seen any. Wheres the beef?

Meanwhile, oh great, THIS is gonna be fun.....

I’ll admit to skimming most of this recent exchange, but this statement stuck out to me. I’ve been thinking this for years. It is mind boggling to listen to grown humans say, “oh yeah, well Hillary did this” “well Obama did this” “Bush did this” “trump did this” in defense of their political party (team). In their mind, because someone on the other team did something WORSE, it makes their team ok. We have seriously turned politics into a sport. People can’t grasp the fact that BOTH repubs and dems are a bunch of damn slimey politicians for the most part that are in it for THEMSELVES and their wealthy buddies.

Amen to that, I've been saying it for years as well. The media, (all of which is owned by only 5 of these corporate giants) has turned Americans on Americans with their ideology based broadcasting. This stuff is not a mistake, it's divide and conquer and it is doing a wonderful job for them. They have ruined holidays for most families by splitting them, (even worse than normal) they split the nation, but the nation all need the same things. I can't even talk to some friends anymore, they are so eat up with this horse crap that they cannot think rationally anymore. What they have done should be illegal. The entire country all of my friends and neighbors are victims of this crap.

it amazes me how much you latch on to one particular part of a fact, not including the whole truth, and then consider it to be a nation atrocity. Everyone got a tax break. The rich got a lower percentage break than than the middle class. And you quantify that to a dollar amount and then make it sound like they got preferable treatment.

I look at it like this. I don't think the govt should take nearly as much of my money as they do in the first place. The system is bloated, inefficient, and in some cases (the post office) down right broken.

That graph is very short sighted. The point of the reform was NOT to put a couple percent back in your pocket from saved income tax. It was to spur investment and increase your gross income before tax. That is absolutely happening right now, successfully.

Spur investment in what? Show me those numbers.
Show me where this same ole version of trickle down economics is actually working and dont show me
some 3% increase and I dont want to hear some anecdotal explanation for it.
Show me some real numbers.

This is nothing but the same ole thing, throw the poor some crumbs and take over a trillion dollars out of taxes for the rich. Next year try to wack medicare and medicaid to make up for it. SOS

In the mean time, Scientists and health experts say that you should pee between six and seven times a day.

Divide the 3,001 documented lies that Trump has told by the number of days in office @ 466, it comes out to 6.5
I thought WOW isn't that a great way to keep up with just how dishonest this POS is with the American Public.

Every time I take a pee, Trump has told another lie.
And another, and another.
What is it with this guy and Pee? sheesh.........

Arbitrary numbers. Show me that graph with tax cut percentages given the same tax brackets.
