Another Clinton robbery**Updated - got the thief on video!!!

I wish letting my wife read this thread would convince her to move to Madison. Seems like every day our neighborhood has more and more in it. We had to call the CPD last week to out neighborhood (Bruenburg) pool because 30+ reggins were trying to get in and swim with their friend. The same night our pool lady went to lock the pool up and walked in on two going at it like rabbits. Only a matter of time before my truck gets broke into since it stays parked outside every night.

It's sad b/c it was duch a great city when I was growing up (late 80's and 90's). Clinton had a good sports complex (besides cheating refs) and a nice quite town.

So when do you quit running? In 10 years when Madison, Pearl, Brandon, etc... Begin to have these same issues where do you go then? Edwards, Bolton, Utica, etc.... Used to be great little towns also then issues started and people moved to Clinton and Vicksburg. Now issues in Clinton and Vicksburg and now Madison and Rankin Counties are the 'answer'. So when do you stop running and fight for your town, your city, your home, your friends, your neighbors?

Used to be great little towns also then issues started and people moved to Clinton and Vicksburg. Now issues in Clinton and Vicksburg and now Madison and Rankin Counties are the 'answer'. So when do you stop running and fight for your town, your city, your home, your friends, your neighbors?

That's hard to answer. How can you fight what you can't out vote. Warren County voted for a democrat president for the first time in my lifetime this last election. Schools are going downhill due to lack of parental involvement and disciplinary issues. Our last mayor was a joke and his term ended in a scandal that may put him in jail. The democratic candidate that just won the primary is Mr. George Flaggs. Very nice and sincere fellow but has as much economic sense as a first grader. My wife and I have volunteered for several organizations here in the county. There are a few people that really care and are working hard to improve the situation but you have a huge segment of the population that contributes in no way but they are the first to reap the rewards of others hard work. You got another segment of the population that bitches about the problems but never put forth a single little effort to try to change things. Until you surround yourself with a community that cares it is always going to degrade.

I agree to a point - I was talking to my dad about it earlier....Clinton used to be the place to be before Madison became what it is - sad thing is, as long as Jackson is the complete $ hit-hole that it is you're literally just buying time whenever you move to the new great suburb in the metro area - right now that's Madison but it's just a matter of time - Ridgeland has already seen the effects - Northpark is what Metro was 15 years ago and is steadily getting worse.

Until Jackson gets it's crap together everything around it will suffer to an extent and Jackson aint getting better while Chewbaca is mayor.

More robberies today......my parents and my brother and his family live on long private drive-way in the back of their neighborhood...there are 3 houses on that long driveway, my parents and brothers are both in the back. The first house has been for sale and is vacant - my brother went down there Wednesday evening to see if it looked like anything was missing...they have a big storage building next to the house and he saw a scooter in there but didn't think much of it at the time (thought it was the homeowner's)....he went back down there today and there were two flat screen TVs stashed in there next to the scooter....called the cops, turns out the scooter is one of the neighbor's down the street that had been missing since Tuesday and the TVs were the neighbor's on the other side of the vacant house. The people that live in the house where the tvs were stolen said the tvs were there this morning when they left so obviously the bastards stole them today in broad daylight and stashed em.....it'll probably be on tonight, got cameras surrounding the storage building where the loot is stashed, guarantee they come back tonight. I might get in my climber and do some hunting later.

Was looking at a house today to buy with my real estate agent and she was telling me about all the robberies that have been happening in her neighborhood (Lakeridge) - she said they've been kicking in doors in the middle of the day - I'm ready for someone to take one of these thugs out.

I understand everyones points but the crime is everywhere in Mississippi. I worked for a guy once and every time his store was broken in to he did not report it to the police. I asked him why he never reported it and he said that it would be put in the papers. I said so what, he said it would be more detrimental and cost his business more for people to not feel safe in his part of town than to replace what was stolen and fix the window. Just because you don't hear about the crime doesn't mean it is not happening.

All over my wife's face book last night was a search for a Madison teen that had disappeared in broad day light between St. Augustine and Uptons around 4:30pm. The police received a tip about a house of interest in South Jackson area. After this his vehicle was spotted by his friends pulling into Liberty park after midnight. His friends followed his vehicle while calling the police. Police came and there were two individuals with him that were 'forcing him to drive them around'. That was that the father of boy was allowed to tell the public at the time.

Snot sound like ya'll have a gang of little thugs breaking in to houses in your neighbor hood, because anyone with transportation to move a flat screen tv is not going to stash it in a shed. Sound like they are coming back and getting stuff they steal during the day at night because they are on foot and it is easier to hide at night.

My wife's sister lives in Madison so I get to hear on a regular basis about how great it is and how wonderful the school are and how we need to move over there to provide the best opportunity for our elementary age kids. If I've told her once, I've told her a hundred times, if I pack up and move, im not stopping until I cross several state lines. When I comment that it might be yhe bedt opportunity within. Two hours drive of her mama but the best opportunity for our kids is likely in another state, that usually shuts her down because she ain't about to move away from mama and baby sister.

I just noticed that the POS in the video has a pistol in his right hand. Look close, you can see it. That pisses me off even more.

that just means you fixin to need a gun as well in your hand .... i cant believe this guy keeps coming back to the same dam place to steal crap.... means he is a complete dumbas so be very careful and if he indeed has a gun when you cross paths i wouldnt waste anytime if you know what i mean although some may see differently
