That's the sort of thing that'll give a fella nightmares.......

Too bad they didn't try to catch it and send to one of those Texas Fairs and see if those fellas would get in a sleeping bag with it.

That picture has been floating around on the net for at least a year. Had a guy show it to me about 2 months ago and said it was a buddy of his who lived down the street from him somewhere in south MS. Either way, it does appear to be a large snake!

Look at the rattle on it. It's an old snake as well. That thing hit you walking through the woods and it would knock you down.

I assure you it is not an old picture. It is my god-son and he sent it to me Friday afternoon. He said it measured just over 7' but they did not weigh it. It was killed near Saluda, SC while he was working with a crew on a job. He lives near there and just finished his Masters at Clemson. Promise you...that is a fresh 2013 snake. 14 rattles and a button. By the way, Joe is 5'11'' for comparison. Pitched of Presbyterian College.

Wonder how many pairs of boots you could make out of that ole boy?

Now, this is strange...the young man in my picture is definitely Joe Hammond...or his twin! But, he sent me the picture Friday and said they had just killed it. I talked to him not 15 minutes after I saw the picture. Guess I need Joe to clear this up for me. I was in the truck with his Dad when I got the picture, too. His Dad said he was going to visit Joe today and that he was going straight to Academy sports and buy some snake chaps to take to him. Hope no one doubts my credibility...now, I just want Joe to explain to me.
