Guess all the redundant systems in that thing failed at once. Or somebody forgot to fill it up.

My amateur aviation internet expertise indicates that he was in a hard turn to the right, pushed the bank angle too far and lost lift, started to slide, tried to level out & pull out but too late. CFIT (controlled flight into terrain). Like the B-52 at Fairchild.

However, it was a cargo flight, so it's also possible the center of gravity was off due to cargo loaded incorrectly, or the cargo could have broken free and shoved rearward. Happened to a FEDEX plane at least once in recent memory.

Or it could be 100 other things.

Those things are usually filled with soldiers and civilians getting from one place to another. Very fortunate only 7 were on board.

I saw somewhere that it was hauling 5 MRAPS, and they weigh around 30,000 lbs apiece. One of them could have broken loose and went to the tail and it would have been all over then.

Load shift is what I heard. Had to have moved CG back which resulted in instant power on stall. You can see him stall as it turns left then right and right wing drops.

That's what I was thinking too. It looks like he may gave gotten it back if he had a couple thousand feet under him.

I know for a fact (Done it a few times) when you leave Bagram you have to climb really fast to clear the mountains and try to get our of range of some camel jockey that wants to shoot an RPG at you. and the corkscrew landing is no fun either, but climbing that hard with that much weight, something probably broke loose inside and shifted. Bad deal though. Also the wind is always a biotch around there. I was grounded for a week before we could fly a cargo plane out of there cause of the wind...may have contributed.
Ona side note, I can't believe how calm the guy who is videoing this is...he doesn't even make a sound when it happend..

I was thinking they cut the audio. I'm pretty sure some f-bombs were flying around.

dash cam video.

I have taken off from there a few times, last time was in a c-130, aand we did circles and gained altitude for what seemed like 30 min before we were high enough to make it over the mountains.
