Rode 75 miles looking for ducks at 11:00. Saw less than 200 in one spot. These ducks are sitting on a newly landformed field. I can't find any food source on this field. Are the ducks feeding at night and just sitting on water during the day?
I did see LARGE numbers of snows and blues. A couple of flights of specks and one flight of real geese.
I hope the geese showing up is a sign of new ducks coming. No Angel is so pissed he's actually deer hunting this afternoon.
I hope Monday and Tuesday's prediction for snow is true and maybe we get some uneducated ducks here.

I know that they have been feeding at night in the areas that I hunt. The moon has been full, so they have plenty of light.

hey Gulf, you know what that full moon does to us Judges, domestic violence is at its highest peak at that time.... if it makes the tides rise, it also makes tempers rise as well... i have been a busy man the last couple of days....if only it was as consistent with DUCKS....

No Angel -- I think the concentration of ducks may have moved to south Quitman County as I posted earlier this evening. Yesterday, I saw a world of ducks in a private field near Vance & another world of geese in the adjacent field. I watched both fields through binocs for over 15 minutes & more birds were arriving during every moment. It was quite a sight.
