New years Resolutions

Postby Bigpoppa » Fri Dec 28, 2001 4:10 pm

It has come to that time of the year that we make a bunch of promises to ourselves and then break them the second week of January. Anybody got any good resolutions? I think I'll pick from the list.

my goal is 45 ducks in the freezer at the end of season, but my only resolution is to get to spend more time with family..... they are good to me and i love them dearly....

Work more real early mornings during the week, and less on nights and weekends, so I can spend more time with the family, and more weekends chasing ducks, clays and redfish.

And miss less church during duck season.

Resolution #1
Take the boys hunting with me a lot more (they'll be a year older and wiser)

Resolution #2
Spend less than $2,500 on new duck hunting equipment (like this year)

Resolution #3
Pray more for cold weather and less for rain.

To be grateful for every second, every moment (even the bad ones), of every day I am alive.

I resolve to continue to hunt with my father-in-law even though he almost shoots me every hunt, flairs the birds, talks too much and doesn't take care of this equipment. I'm not even going to mention the wife he gave me.......
