My ex had one. I liked it. It got good mileage and was dependable. I think I bought it in 05.

I had an '03 SR5 4.0, I liked it and never had an issue with it. It had plenty of get up and would crawl through some mud.

My sister has an 07', she likes it. There is a small hitch in the tranny when coming to a complete stop or just before taking off. It doesn't do it all the time. Sent it to the dealer 4 times, they couldn't duplicate the problem, but its still plugging along with no failure or major issue, might run forever like that
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

I have an 02 SR5 2WD with 120k on it and still running strong, drive it every day and wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip. Wish it was 4WD...

I bought a '90 model in '93. SR5, automatic with a v6. I drove it for 6 years or so, had around 200K miles on it when I traded to my Dad for a vehicle he had. He drove it for 4 years as his primary vehicle then sold it to my brother-in-law when he got back from Iraq. B-I-L drove it for the 4 years he was at State, and I mean DROVE it! It had 365K on it when the speedometer/odometer cable broke, which he never fixed. Dad bought it back from my B-I-L when he graduated in '07 and has driven it every day since then. He uses it primarily to drive the dogs around in the hills every day, it looks like hell but it is still humming. Have no idea how may miles its got on it, has to be pushing 500K.

I had an 02 SR5 4x4. Never really put it in mud but I put about 115,000 miles on it in 5 years and I never did a single thing to it except put gas in it and change the oil. I never even had to put a battery or brake pads on it. I sold it and got a 2009 Silverado, which started burning oil at 60,000 miles. I just traded the Silverado in on a 2013 SR5 4x4 about two months ago and I am glad to be back in a dependable vehicle again.
