Ask ds Seat covers

Postby madisondog » Thu Mar 28, 2013 7:12 pm

Looking at getting some seat cover for 98 chevy z71 extended cab with 60/40 bench seat with flip down console. What brand do I need to be looking at? Don't want to spend a whole bunch . Thanks

As you know I have wet okle on the toyotas seats, they have been good ones, they are showing wear but they have had 4 years of butts sitting in them, they are pricey but worth it in my opinion.
I like the looks of the cabelas seat covers, the black and brown ones but they may cost just as much and I havent heard anything about them. You will pay if you get fitted covers. The camo ones built in MS seem to be the most durable, but I dont particularly care for the coarse material they use.

Wal-Mart sells some, but I'd be a bit leary of them. They are 'universal' size, and the one I put on the front seat of my Escape (I know, but I'm trying to 'un-gay' it as much as I can) is kind of loose, and I don't know how to make it any tighter.
Nobody owes you anything.

My cousin boats almost year round and brings a lot of moisture back in his truck. He swears by the Wet Okie covers. I was gonna get a set but he said they get hot in the summer and collect dust. In the end you pay for what you get...

Lodi what say ye as too the hot in the summer / dust collection claim? I'd like an opinion.

Marathon seat covers - custom made for each order. You have some options you can choose too, pockets, etc.
