are you "Sweet Lovin" serious clark? REALLY???? You are in serious need of perspective...
Boy you guys have gotten awfully sensitive when it comes to Henderson. According to Bjork, every time he flips off the fans, and it gets mentioned in the national media, that is good exposure and branding for Ole Miss. Sounds like the Ole Miss athletic admin wants it to continue. Those are not my words or the word of any MSU fan. Those are the words of your athletic director. Now who is in need of perspective?

Any one of us could score 20 points a game if we took enough shots.
Yeah, ....right. Good lord. You've got to be kidding me. Most of our fat arses here couldn't make it two trips down the court without oxygen, gatorade, and physical therapy. And against the defenses faced in the SEC and quality nonconference, few of us here could probably even get off a shot, much less make one or two. One good swat by a player like Murphey Holloway or Reggie Buckner would send most of us to the hospital. This ain't high school ball or driveway homeboy ball.

With regard to the bird flipping incident, it appears to have lasted about a nano second, as Marshall entered the tunnel out of the arena. Our assistant on "Marshall alert" was slipping in his job. He tried to get there in time, but he was a tad late. Here it is, in all its wickedness and infamy:

http://deadspin.com/heres-marshall-hend ... -458793000

I don't condone that behavior, and I wish that Marshall could refrain from retaliation against classless fans. Flipping the bird to any fan, regardless of what they might have said, is uncalled for. No one at Ole Miss, fans included, condones this behavior. But, I am not going to advocate that he be kicked off the team for such a minor incident. Maybe some counseling about better behavior is in order. It ain't like he attacked anyone or singled anyone out in the crowd --- the only reason anyone saw it is due to the video cameras rolling to capture his every move from the time he enters the arena to the time he exits, and then beyond to the locker. 99.99999999 % of the fans in the arena had no clue this even happened at the time. Kind of like the tree that falls in the woods that no one sees or hears --- did it really make a sound?

IF we were to start firing coaches, or kicking players off teams, for acting like a jackarse, then MSU's Mullen and Cohen would have already been fired at MSU. Their jackarsery is already legendary. OR what about the foul language by head coaches, especially football coaches, on the sidelines that often gets captured on video (and audio) during games? Firing offense? Suspension? Public reprimand? Counseling and being lashed with a wet noodle?

If Marshall comes back for his senior year, he will be the only senior on the team next season. Being in this role MIGHT tone his antics down a bit, and he would have an offseason to work on it, along with his basketball skills. Probably wishful thinking on my part --- the part about Marshall even returning --- and the part about him toning things down.

I am still amazed at how every little thing Marshall does is analyzed and over-analyzed by opposing fans and pundits. They are apparently either obsessed with him or at least very fascinated by him. But, blowing things out of proportion is a longtime tradition by "opposing fans" in general. We all do it. Feigned outrage at the less than outrageous by others. It makes us feel better about ourselves, I suppose. Imagine the nerve of Marshall ---flipping the bird to an opposing fan. No player has EVER done that before. Right? String him up. We can't have that, because it would be so out of character to the high sports etiquette standards set by coaches, fans and players.

I'm not sensitive at all and I don't need any perspective...I don't care for Marshall Henderson, I don't care for the antics of many basketball players or football players. I don't care very much about basketball at all to be clear. HOWEVER, in terms of perspective, I do understand how a coach or AD at this level must act and respond and manage their position. And through the facts and fictions and all this whole circus entails, Ole MIss is basking in some of the limelight, no doubt. I'm sure it's nice for you to sit there as a rival fan and imagine an out of control coach and AD at Ole Miss. If you think Andy Kennedy promotes dangerous behaviour by one of his star players, or you think Ross Bjork wants his athletes flipped off people at events...you need perspective.

Why stop at 10 pages, let's see if we can carry this on to 11 or 15 or 23 pages.......

The point isn't that Cohen, Mullen, Henderson, Sydney, Kennedy, Bianco, or (insert the name of your favorite a-hole) are doing the things they are doing.....we all agree that all of the above say and do things that are less than a desireable way to represent their respective universities.

When was the last time you heard a Mississippi State fan mention in general reference that other schools (especially Ole Miss) have no class? Sure it may happen occasionally........I lived in Oxford for 16 years......didn't matter the setting, one of the Rebels favorite past times is to talk about how all Bulldogs lack class. Every time a Bulldog steps out of line, here comes the "class" word again.....

Now that the Rebels have the "biggest classless act" in the history of SEC basketball......it is soooooooo funny to watch the Rebels defend him. Pot meet Kettle. I would have LOVED to of had Henderson playing for the Bulldogs.......it's not about him as much as it is fun watching all the Rebels (who would never do anything so classless) sell their souls to the devil out of desperation in the name of an NCAA bid..........very funny to watch.

We can debate this all we want, but I honestly don't know how long he would've lasted with Rick Ray, no matter how good he is. Ray was suspending guys when he was down to 5-6 players.

Henderson wouldn't last 30 seconds with Rick Ray (unless he cleaned up his act).....but he would have fit right in With what Stans had going on.

Yep, and he won 8 games. Rod Barnes would have been proud.

Stitch, a bit of shamelessness is often a necessary evil to win.

He won 10, thank you very much. One of which was against Mississippi.
