Orange Beach/Gulf Shores beach house?

Postby nez » Fri Mar 22, 2013 8:10 am

My family of 4 is going to the Orange Beach area for baseball tourney May 24-26 (would stay till at least 27th) and I was checking to see if anyone might have a contact for rental during that time that would not require a whole week. Would love to find beachfront house but know those are next to impossible to find (I just remember going to a little beach house there as a kid for summer vacations before the Gulf Shores area exploded with condos).
Thanks for any info.

that is a great website. I booked a condo in galveston on the beach from that site and it was better than expected.

If your playing at OB sportsplex, i would stay somewhere close by. Ive been to a few of these tourneys and traffic can be bad to say the least. Not to mention it will be one of the first few weeks of summer break so there will be alot of extra vacationers. If your not worried as much about beach going then I would stay at the wharf since its probably less than a 5 min drive to the sports plex. If you want sun and sand I would stay close to Orange Beach blvd. Just my .02

+1 Traffic is a killer when there is something going on at the Sportsplex , you do not want to get caught in GS trying to go to OB .

Thanks for feedback, will take those in consideration. Most of stuff I found on VRBO has longer minimum stay during that time.
I will give Capt. Smith a call.

I have a place there that my wife rents. We do not have a minimum.
Its' on face book as Grand Point #203.
I really only pay for the thing......have no idea what she rents it for.
It is also on VRBO but you will have to search for Grand Pointe, Unit 203...........

Okay, it's Grand Pointe 301543 on VRBO
