Anybody seen any ducks in Bentonia?

Heading to Scotland in the morning- any report on ducks in the area? Where the heck are they? It seems like it's been plenty cold enough to move'em in from the frozen north. What do y'all think gives......

i been duckin for alot of years and this season has throwed a loop in my intelligence... {didn't take much to do that} the weather and temps has co-operated, ground froze and food sources are nominal, they just ain't here, maybe it is the moto-mallards that has them scared to come to us good ole boys.....Geez, i didn't imagine they would have that big an impact.....haha....

crawduck, you from Scotland or are you in a lease there? I'm just curious, years ago we used to hunt on Big Black. There are some awesome deer in that swamp! go24

I have been deer hunting thios week at Scotland and I have a duck hole that I can see from my stand. There are a few wood ducks coming in, but no ducks. I also talked to someone day before yesterday and if my guess is right, he lives just down the road from your lease. The report is no ducks. I am going out on a limb and I am afraid its not going to get much better.
