alot of ducks but no mallards

i rode over to arkansas today. i seen unestimatible shovelers and trash ducks. i saw a few big ducks "mallards" but not as many as i expected the temps are really dropping . i dont believe its going to take much longer to get a few ducks to come down . anyone with any luck around the area send me some news

Hunted last two days near Earle Ark. Saw ducks in the air Friday---new ducks---plenty of pintail and even one black duck. Did not fire a shot.Spent a lot of time getting the decoy rig set for today. Just knew today would bring ducks.
Today--in blind ready to shoot at legal lite. Saw very few ducks in the air and not as many geese as Friday. Every bird in the air was REAL tall. Still did not fire a shot. This has been one real tough year for duck hunting.

there are alot of ducks here but they are in unusaul places!!! we have several flooded fields without a duck, but 1/2 mile away there is a creek with no food just 15 feet of flood water and they are in it like crazy. if you find them you better keep up with them because after 1 or 2 days they are moving. it might not be 1/2 mile but they are moving. it will be the same type place they were in and they will be hard to get to. i have been filling up everyday because i am having to ride and find them again.
