Evicton question?
Re: Evicton question?
Abandonment and child custody could make this a complicated. He needs a lawyer for sure...

Re: Evicton question?
There are questions concerning the law in Mississippi that he needs to research. In Tennessee, if there is a lease, then the courts have to order eviction. If he was in TN, paid every bill including the rent/mortgage, and had all the receipts to prove it... but the lease/mortgage was not in his name then he gotta go if the leaseholder says. If there is a DV call for the deputies, then they aren't evicting him per say. The leaseholder wants the person out, and if they do not leave, then they are trespassing. If there is no lease then a non-lease holder cannot put someone out. "My Moma owns this house" is not enough to make him leave. But again, what are the laws in Mississippi concerning all of this? I would agree he needs a lawyer for purposes much more serious than getting put out.
