i wish more of our politicians would grow a pair and raise hell when something they don't agree with goes on.. backbone, glad to see someone in washington has one.

Paul/Cruz 2016!

Media would rip them apart, but I will never back a presidential candidate that NBC or Fox news endorse. (openly or covertly endorse, ie. Fox & Romney)

I was hoping he'd keep going at least long enough to crack the top five longest filibusters of all time. He ended somewhere around the 14 hour mark; would've taken 16+ hours to get into the top five (and 24 hours, 20+ minutes to beat Strom Thurmond's record, I believe).
