Saw that friday. Should be feast or famine. Not there thing but maybe overseas cost cutting etc. All will depend on what deal they are looking for. going on a limb and giving the "Im Out" on all of em but maybe 1. No way cuban goes for it but since duck dynasty was such a hit up north it could be a HIT!!!! I will watch.

I'll be watching it. I like the show a lot and don't need a reason to watch it, but I will stop what I'm doing this Friday night to make sure I don't miss this episode. I hope the ole boys from Madison get to turn down a good offer from the Sharks.

Y'all ever read up on that show? The producers get 5% stake in your company just for allowing you on the show, regardless of outcome and shark deals...
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.
Re: Muddy Water Camo on Shark Tank
think about it, though, that's a 15 min infomercial on prime time tv....whether or not the sharks rip you up, you've gotten your product out in front of millions of potential customers that will likely start a search for your product. enough people search for it...somebody will pick it up to market, and that may be the "help" you needed to get the business up and running on its own.
Experience is a freakin' awesome teacher...

Had no idea you had to give 5% to be on the show. After reading up it appears that the contract says that Sony Television and ABC get to choose either 2% of profits or a 5% stake. That changes things a good bit. I might still go on the show because, as others have said, you get your product on prime time TV plus re runs. They also replay the show on Sunday. That might be worth giving up 5% but there is no way I would make a deal with a shark unless they offered exactly what I was asking for.RedEyed Duck wrote:Y'all ever read up on that show? i'd say we rip off the "pick'koola", but there is such a severly limited demographic for such an item...and i'm unsure if e.b.t. considers those "prepared food stuffs" or not.driveby wrote:What could you and I go on there and sell them Cal?

Oh well, pretty obvious that the sharks don't see things like us!
Chewed em up & spit em out.
I'm thinking the plan all along was for national exposure.
The Madison boys cheesed it up with the kazoos

Definite plug for them. That was it. Bubba in old camo???? They had no intentions of deal making. Maloney didn't need no 150,000.eSJay wrote:Oh well, pretty obvious that the sharks don't see things like us!

I was at the viewing party for the show, and they got exactly what they wanted, advertisement. This camo looks great! I saw the deer pattern which is coming out this year, and it is going to be awesome, too! I'm definitely pulling for these guys.
Re: Muddy Water Camo on Shark Tank
They definitely had no intentions of making a deal. Would not even make a counter offer. Looked like once they made their pitch they were ready to get out of there. They did a good job of selling their product and they held their own when the sharks were critical.

I think they did great. Excellent pattern, super group of guys. They're going to do very well.

I wander if they need a good ol' southern boy to start an Outdoor Show and let them sponsor me?

Steve will do well with this and wish him nothing but the best.
The timber pattern coming out is really good, even better than the field imo.
