I say go about your business, don't let her get your blood pressure up. Getting all riled up about it with her is almost like saying the topic is up for debate. Since it aint, calmly go about showing your brother a good time shack style...good eats, stories, and a few mallards.

here's a good Christmas joke for the Shack tomorrow:

A man and his family are driving by the University of Florida just before Christmas and notice a living nativity scene. He decides to let the kids get an up close look. As they get closer the see Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men. But notice the wise men are wearing tall rubber boots, carrying an ax, and holding a hose. He asks what's the deal with the wise men....the U of F grad student says "well we read the story in the bible several times and it mentioned the wise men had just come from afar"

Merry Christmas Judge.

No doubt the proper way to handle it is to do what ya'll have always done (i.e. the after meal hunt), and leave it at that. No need to rub her face in it, to recount kills in front of her face, or to skin birds in her presence. If ya'll are hunting with her mouth being shut, she's doing her part to not fight, do yours. Always remember, a lot of NON hunters turned ANTI from our behavior, Im sure a few antis could be turned to non's by our behavior if we tried. Merry Christmas, judge and everyone! travis

My daughter is acard-carrying member of PETA. She has even been to some type of demonstration. She is very conscious of consuming any type of animal product that involved the demise of that animal.
Everyone else in the family--mother and two brothers--hunt. We respect her space and she in turn respects ours. That arrangement allows us to live and let live.

for those of you that might remember last Christmas, my sister in law turned pro Peta and chose to voice her opinion and i guess i lost it and told her what i thought of her and peta..... well i haven't seen or spoke to her since until yesterday... it has always been a ritual for us brothers to hunt after dinner, this year was no exception... and low and behold my oldest brother{her husband} joined me and little brother on a dove shoot... even brought his daughter and two grandsons... joined by my wife and grandson... what a good Christmas we shared... like old times... was she upset ?? don't know and don't CARE...haha.... she is in the wrong family to get any support for her cause..... i say BOOT her out... am i wrong to shove it in her face or should i just sit back and ignore??

i'm counting on your support....

Oh just sit back and ignore her Judge, I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of even letting her know it bothered me. Of course a couple of "well timed" comments wouldn't hurt just to keep it interesting!
