Blind question

Postby loch leven » Wed Feb 13, 2013 8:32 pm

I have a few pit blinds in levees that seem to constantly flood out after a big rain. The levees run across a wide open pond and the levees provide the only cover. We raised the pits a couple years ago but we still spend to much time brushing and pumping them. Any suggestions on how I can design a new blind or address the flooding issues in the pits? Do you think a raised blind on a levee will flair ducks? Thanks in advance

On every hunt I've ever been on with a raised blind on the levee, the ducks knew we were there and wouldn't come within 100 yards. Keep pumping your pit out.
