Another Typical Hunt

Postby laduck » Fri Dec 28, 2001 6:30 pm

Went to Holmes County Christmas night. I knew things were bag, but the company would be good and maybe we could get on a few birds. We had no luck. Hunted a flooded field Wednesday a.m. (did not fire a shot). Went to Hollandale, on the ride we saw very few ducks. Did see a bunch of geese in Wingman's area. Hunted a green tree on Thrusday a.m. (did not fire a shot). In the afternoon we went to the scatters (just to check things out). It was about 10 feet higher than normal, and very few ducks. I came home this morning, had a good time with friends, but did not pull the trigger. Will go to the marsh, but things will not be good there either. I hope that you all kill a few and have a safe and happy new year. Jack
