Im not stiring the pot or anything like that.
I respect what LODI has said and Double Reed and see where they come from. I am sure more are thinking the same thing as they are.
But do you really think Rob is basically setting people up or something? Look at his rep here with people and his status with wildlife and ALOT of friends he has on here. I understand him doing his job when on duty, but being off duty and having fun with everyone else I dont see a problem with. As long as it is respectable and safe.

It all boils down to respect for each other and being safe. You hear about it from time to time people being drunk and wrecking and worst. Just keep your head on straight, do what you want to do and always have a back up plan. Maybe he could be everyones DD back off the water?

Personally, I'd hate to see the good get together you guys are having get broken up. If I had a boat, my back up plan would be hoping my big black lady friends would know how to drive the boat back. :D :D
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
Cheers, Georgie.

You guys are something else. You actually think on a spring Saturday at Flag Island you aren't gonna see law enforcement? Have mercy. That's like saying you won't see a cop on a Friday night at the California Club in Belzoni.

Y'all don't worry. I won't go and I promise you I haven't said nor will I say a word about this to anyone I work with. But you're a fool if you think you can up river on the Pearl and not see a game warden on a Saturday during boating season.

Bring y'all's a sses on! Hell half the fun of the Rez upriver is keepin the can low. They're gone be there anyway. I, for one, will not be a good candidate for answering any questions as complex as words like "questions" to any suspecting law enforcement officer. Doesn't mean I wasn't raised right; just means I'm getting Mississippi Marinated like I 'as raised- with dignity and class.

It may not be but 5 of us, but just read the outdoors page to learn tips and tricks on rotisserie cooking your face on sandbars with Wabbit Wogers and the msducks crew.

I asked if u were joking. You said u were not. I was glad u were going honestly. Everybody knew the gamewarden was going to be with us, and im sure planning on behaving, we also know that the odds are also pretty good that you'll see other officers out there. But what you said is a whole different story.

Im on the water ALOT of days out of the year and know better than to be drunk driving the boat, but i also know exactly how subjective some laws are. All it takes is da man with a grudge to ruin a mans day.

This thread is now complete. I was waiting on Joe's reply to finish out the drama.

Dang folks if you aren't breaking the law who cares if the law is there or knows about it. If I'm there I'll drive folks back. I'm sure there will be some others that would do the same to help the drinkers out. I've been up river on two occassions when some way too drunk dumb ass seriously screwed up. One time the guy killed two of his immediate family members and injured others trying to spray their boat with his like he was on a jetski or something. Since then I don't even have a beer or two on the boat unless I know I'm not having to drive the boat or a vehicle. It's not worth it. No reason Rob can't show up and hang out. If you're dumb enough to have too many and drive a boat you need to be in jail. There are too many families out there that you can screw up with non-sense like that. Drink and have a good time just get somebody to man up and be the DD for your boat. Just my opinion.

Gonna be a good time folks. We are working on maybe a raffle or some type of give away. For those coming, it will be a great time. Looking forward to it. Blake and his crew are hard at work getting everything on track and I am helping with some things on the side.
