Well it's Buras and he ran the birds off when he got here! Before GH22, a 12 bird limit out day and the day after 6 birds in 30 min. then had to get out due to low water, then GH22 arrives and not squat, must be that ugly mug of his. However I did murder the trout while he was down here. Of course he wasn't with me, but he was in Buras. Man I feel bad we had such a crappy hunt, we just got unlucky, got flood tides due to huge S wind while he was here, ran all the birds out.

I ran the ducks off??? I don't think so. We hammered them Thursday morning on the river side and got a few on Friday. My dad and I may have run the birds off, I would fear two MS guys that can shoot ducks like we can. I'll tell ya, Jeff needs to get a patent on his duck blind layout, it's something to see, a lot of creative thinking went into building it. Then I go and killed my first black mallard, without knowledge, clean the duck then an hour later find out what it was. Well I guess that saved me a $200 taxidermy fee. We've been having new birds in bunches for the past two days but there is so much water they are scattered out big time.
