Old gun prices

Postby Chuckle12 » Thu Aug 26, 2004 10:44 am

My girlfriend's grandma has a few guns she wants to get rid of and wanted me to find out what they would bring. They probably aren't worth much, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Remington 1100 12ga. (I know this ain't worth much)

Remington Model 11 12ga. - patent on the barrell says Feb. 13, 1906

Marlin Model .336 30-30 Winchester - says microgroove barrell

Any ideas what the model 11 or the 30-30 will bring?

Not being rude...but an 1100 or a 30-30 arent what Id call OLD...

A 100% 1100 might be worth some money...esp if something other than a 12 ga....but most guns around are shooters in 50-75% condition and arent worth much more than a simple utility value....

Sort of like saying Ive got a Chevy and a Ford to sell...what are they worth ? 68 split window Vette with a 454 ? or a 75 Nova ?....hard to say without much more info...but I doubt you are gonna retire on these shootin irons!
